A house that popped up on the cover of Build.

DriSpace had finished its first Residential Systems book and needed architects to notice. We built the launch around a pop-up house that sprang from a flat sleeve on the front of Build magazine.

The brief

After completing its first Residential Systems book, DriSpace asked us for a strategy and campaign to announce the release to architects and architectural designers.

What we made

We used a full marketing mix, and the highlight was a pop-up house. It was mailed flat inside a sleeve attached to the front of Build magazine, and popped into a fully formed house when it was slid out, introducing the new vented roof and wall cavity systems.

Architects and architectural designers responded straight away, with requests for training and literature. We also refreshed the DriSpace identity, from the logo to stationery, business cards and the systems booklet.
