New GIB Weatherline

Background

Winstone Wallboards had a plan to launch their first Rigid Air Barrier, Weatherline. GIB Weatherline would be placed on the outside of a house during construction and act as a temporary cladding, enabling builders to start work on the inside while the outside was being completed. This created a considerable time saving on site, reducing costs and allowing homeowners to move in faster.

Project

Mighty was engaged to complete the product collateral and the campaign for market launch for New GIB Weatherline, this included the following over a 12 month period:

  1. The development of a market research phase
  2. The completion of the technical literature for architects and builders
  3. The development of a sales brochure
  4. The design and build of a campaign website
  5. The ideation of the campaign including soft and hard launch concepts.
  6. The development of launch advertising and collateral
  7. The creation of the online and print advertising
  8. The roll out of a soft and hard launch in print, online and in-person.
Outcome

Through early research it became apparent that creating some awareness in the market of this new product would be helpful and normalise the release of a GIB product of the exterior.

Mighty presented a plan to bring key architects and builders into workshops across New Zealand 12 months prior to launch. Over all, over 70 architects and builders joined the development team meaning when the new product and system launched, there were already advocates ready to specify and purchase the new range.
