Privacy Policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

This privacy policy sets out how Workhouse Marketing Ltd, trading as Mighty ("us", "we" or "our"), uses and protects any information you give us, including when you use this website. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles. If we ask you to provide information by which you can be identified, it will only be used in line with this policy.

Information we collect

When you subscribe to our newsletter or provide your contact details, including through the contact and newsletter forms on this website, we collect personal information about you. In the course of working with you, we may also collect personal information such as your name, address, phone number and email address. We may request other specific information relating to the goods or services you want to obtain.

Information collected indirectly

Sometimes we collect personal information about you from sources other than you directly, such as analytics providers, advertising platforms, publicly available sources, or a business you work for or with. Where we do this, we will take reasonable steps to make you aware of the collection and the matters set out in this policy, unless an exception under the Privacy Act applies. This reflects the indirect-collection notification requirements (IPP 3A) that took effect on 1 May 2026.

How we use your information

By registering your details on our website or providing information to us, you consent to us receiving, maintaining, recording, holding and using personal data collected about you. We may use this information to provide and market existing and future products and services, and to keep you informed of developments or opportunities in areas you have expressed interest in, or that we believe you may be interested in. We may contact you by post, phone, email, text or social media.

If you would prefer not to receive emails or other communications from us, there is an unsubscribe link on all our newsletters.

Sharing and statistics

We may provide statistics about website traffic, website use, demand for relevant products and services, and related website information to third parties. Any such statistics will not include any information that identifies you personally.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how people use our website and to measure our marketing. They are loaded through Google Tag Manager and come from these providers:

Google Analytics tells us which pages are visited, how people find the site and when an enquiry is sent. Google receives information about your device and browser and your IP address, which Google Analytics does not store.

Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) records page views and enquiries so we can measure our advertising on Meta and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site.

LinkedIn Insight Tag records page views and enquiries so we can measure our LinkedIn advertising and see the kinds of businesses visiting our site.

Business visitor lookup. Two further tools run directly on the site: our own Standa software and Snitcher. Each looks up which organisation owns the internet address a visit comes from, so we can see which businesses have looked at our website. Standa keeps only the organisation's name and the pages viewed, never your internet address or anything that identifies you as a person, and it sets no cookie. Standa uses ipapi.is to do the lookup, and Snitcher may set its own cookie. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, Standa does not record the visit.

These providers may process this information outside New Zealand, including in the United States, under their own privacy policies. We do not send them the details you type into our contact form.

You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies, install Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), and change your ad settings in your Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you block cookies.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to keep your personal information secure and to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this policy, or as required by law.

This website is hosted by Netlify, and information you submit through our website forms is processed and stored on Netlify's infrastructure, which may be located outside New Zealand, including in the United States. Netlify is required to protect this information in a way that, overall, provides comparable safeguards to those under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to, and to request correction of, any of your personal information that we hold. If you wish to do so, or if you have any questions about privacy matters, please contact us by email at chris@mighty.nz .

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information or a privacy request, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz .

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown above.
